A Trader Joe's Miss.....
So a few weeks ago i picked up these "Ready bake brownies" from Trader Joe's. i was so excited about my new find but i did not know what i was getting into. A few days later i went to make the brownies, that at the time i thought was going to be amazing and blow my mind, i should have known because when i went to make them i noticed a funny smell and a really greasy texture. as they where baking there was no smell not even a little smell of delicious chocolaty brownies. when i took them out every thing looked normal so i let them cool and about 30 minutes later i give Danny the first piece, so a little background about my amazing husband he has an amazing sense of smell and taste it is crazy and accurate. so when he tried the brownie to my suprise he did not have a face of bliss but more a face of discuss i asked him what he thought about them and he replied with "They taste like sea weed" i was so surprised after i was done laughing i tried them my self and he was so right. They had a very odd texture and taste we did not finish the brownies at all instead we gave them to the garbage can gods to enjoy.

Amazing Oatmeal Cinnamon Chocolate Chip Cookies
I came across this recipes a few weeks ago at work, my good friend Michelle has Celiac disease and that means that she can not have any gluten, well her wonderful client had made these cookies for her and she could not eat them so being the good friend that i am i helped her out and ate them for her. It was so amazing that i had to ask for the recipe as she was telling me what was in it i couldn't help but think that i was over my head on this one. After she left i turned to Michelle in amazement because her client told me the recipe off the top of her head, if that was me i would have left something out. Well that night i went home and decoded what i had wrote down and than started to make them, it went together so easy and it made good size cookie. i was very impressed by my baking skills that night i dont know if it was the lack of sleep or the will to be like Paula Deen but it was a good baking night in our house that night.
